Plenty
of boats at anchor and on moorings in Manchineel Bay at Cooper Island
in the beautiful British Virgin Islands. Life is good!
Cooper
Island is 1 1/2 miles long by 1/2 mile wide, and lies 5 miles south of
Tortola, the capital of the BVI. Tiny and unspoiled, it is free from
roads, nightclubs, shopping malls and crowds - providing the perfect
escape from the stress of everyday life.
The BVI is a popular bareboat destination and COOPER ISLAND BEACH CLUB
features on many sailing itineraries. The informal, friendly restaurant
serves lunch and dinner daily and 40 moorings in the bay provide a good
overnight anchorage.
